I have been lucky enough to build a business out of something I love. Working with cars has been a passion of mine since childhood.

How the Company Started

Thruxton Classic Car Restorations was set up 37 years ago, after working at the Thruxton Circuit and falling in love with classic cars.
 
My first job was varnishing the wood rim steering wheel for Motor Lita. The workshop where I was looked out over where the racing drivers were based, and I used to see Tony Shaw pass by regularly. That was enough to get me hooked.

My first car was a Vauxhall Viva, but since then I have driven, tested and sat in pretty much any car you can think of! There is little I don't know about cars.
